False belonging- a personal reflection of Toko-Pa Turners work. I was on a mentorship call yesterday with one of my most soulful teachers @adi_shakti_rising There were four or so of us present- a consistent message I was hearing was that the folks who were in corporate culture felt misaligned with their morals and values. Beyond, this small group, I trust and know deeply that there are sooo many people who are becoming aware that their work is unfulfilling and not aligned with their values and morals. That these businesses with hierarchal leadership and exploitative business models are no longer acceptable and people don’t want to be working for or in these systems anymore. I want to take a moment to normalize this felt sense, you are not alone. As I have felt it too, prior to my leaving corporate America 3.5 years ago. I was taught to not trust myself and my instincts, to follow the heard, to become a hard worker for the elite white class. That narrative and way of existing was entirely unfulfilling. I want to acknowledge that It is scary to leave the security of a regular and guaranteed pay check. But it is worth every ounce of gaining your freedom and reconnecting to your soul. Following your star 💫 It is a huge risk. To step out of false belonging and it means taking on self leadership and radical self responsibility. A deep rooted independence. Anyone who is an entrepreneur may understand the defiance and what it means to step out of the support systems and false security. When we move from corporate to an independent profession- we must be creative, we have to generate our offerings and gifts and learn a whole slew of skills and take on multiple jobs. It requires sacrificing outside support and resources to honor and to go within to connect to our own inner resources. There is a toll for leaving false belonging, and it is worth it. This beautiful Yoni Mandala is a painted act of devotion. For me, to represent my commitment to my body, in deep reverence and honor. A commitment to ritualize around her sacred magic. The Yoni Mandala is a representation of the goddesses Devi and Shakti, and it symbol of the creative energy that moves through the universe.
In Sanskrit Yoni means “source”, place of origin and vagina, in fact the triangle in the center of the mandala is a depiction of the female genitalia.
In Hinduism the Yoni male counter part is the Lingam, symbol of Shiva.
The union of these two symbols is called Shiva-Shakti and it is represented with a different geometric shape in the Sri Yantra Mandala. This Mandala is an expression of the creative power of mother nature and symbol of the divine feminine energy and is also called Kali Yantra Mandala.
 Visualization practice with this beautiful painting can help one induce a deeper state of meditation, relaxation, and avoids distraction during Yoga practice. I have journeyed and traveled to find the wisdom to sit here in all potential. Thank you thank you dear universe. Thank you to the west, to all who come before the hands of this beautiful embodied heart, to the east, thank you to all those that let us be hear now in this body, in this physical form, this manifestation as a template of consciousness. Holding myself tightly and lovingly after another IFS journey (internal family systems) Walking deeply into the shadows to find a young girl burdened by Neglect, the exile. I witnessed her, she was so deeply sad and in so much pain. Alone, forced to figure it out on her own, and no one was there to protect her or to support her in the ways she needed. More parts began to show themselves, the firefighters: The Gaslighter (the part that says my reality is not real, you’re too emotional and making it up) Safety enforcer (anxiety and unsafety in my body) Undying loyalty (the part who stays in domestically violent relationships with no boundaries) I learned that I have a whole fleet of protectors trying to keep me from experiencing the pain of the exile; Neglect. I held her lovingly in my arms for the first time, I was able to access her more deeply and more connected. I Created space to witness All these parts. This work is intense and utterly profound. I want to be the most authentic and honest version of myself. I want to nourish my being from my core, and heal the burdens past to me from my family. I am on this journey for everyone, for me, for my children, for my family, for my partner, for friends, for all the people across the world suffering from trauma. So that you can experience a more loving, radiant, and Devine version of me. I want to heal the transgenerational trauma. I’ve decided this kind of pain stops here with me. I want to encourage you all, that it is safe to be vulnerable and real about your healing journey. And for those of you who have not begun your own, that we need you to. To help raise the collective vibration and consciousness into a more healing-focused and connected field. So the earth can heal. SoulWork I am here, now. Ready to humbly surrender to this process fully and I intend to continue to allow emergence of self-discovery.  I've been digging into learning and meeting myself. I am exploring parts of me I have not offered space to heal and to be heard. Spending time alone. These parts are not kind, they are not loving, they are isolating and scared. They hurt me. They were constructed to protect me. They have been neglected by me, until now. Out of all my years of therapy (16) and all my training over the past 13 years, I have never learned how to hold space for these parts of myself. I am just beginning to, getting real and honest with myself and with others. These parts were perceived as too heavy or too something… that I perceived people didn't have time or space for. I certainly didn't have time and space for them because I had set goals for myself to accomplish 5 million things and be the greatest and most selfless human possible, with all these accolades, certifications, and doings. This work is incredibly hard, dark, and painful. It is scary to open up to share these parts with people and be vulnerable. I have been able to do that with my partner and my psychedelic sex coach. And he still loves me and she shows up for me. I have had people leave my life when I have opened up in these ways in the past, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to break those cycles. 🪬 I am deeply grateful for mother ayahuasca for her sharing these insights and awareness I have been able to tap into over the past month.
